Equipment and the fleet log
/app/fleetTracking machines, logging service and hours, and marking something down.
Adding a machine
- 1Open Fleet and add the machine — what it is, and anything you'd want on a claim form later.
- 2Log its current hours if you track them.
- 3Do this as machines come up for service rather than trying to catalogue the whole shed in one afternoon.
Logging service
Every service entry records what was done, when, and at what hours. Over a season that turns into the maintenance history you need when you're deciding whether to repair or replace — and the one the dealer asks for under warranty.
Marking something down
A machine marked down shows up on the morning brief immediately, so tomorrow's plan is built knowing the triplex is out rather than discovering it at 5am. Fairway can also draft the email to your dealer for you — as a draft, which a person reads before sending.
Hours-at-service is what makes the log useful. Without it you have a list of dates; with it you have intervals you can plan against.
Questions
Can I attach a photo of the damage?
Yes — put it on the job for the repair. A dated photo attached to a work record is what a warranty claim actually wants.
Does it warn me before a service is due?
Machines you've logged hours against surface on the brief as they approach their interval. It's a prompt, not an automatic work order.
Tell us what's missing and we'll write it. Help that doesn't cover the thing you came for isn't help.
