Certifications and licences
/app/certsRecording who holds what, and never finding out about an expiry on the day of a spray.
Recording one
- 1Open Certifications.
- 2Add the certification — who holds it, what it is, and when it expires.
- 3Renew it in place when they re-certify, which keeps the history rather than replacing it.
What it saves you from
An expired applicator licence discovered on the morning of a spray costs you the window, and possibly more than that. Expiries surface on the morning brief well before the date, so it's a calendar item rather than an emergency.
When you ask who could fill an open shift, work that needs a certification only suggests people who currently hold it. That's most of the value of keeping this list current.
Questions
What kinds of certification can I track?
Anything with a holder and a date — pesticide applicator licences, CDLs, first aid, forklift, whatever your state or your insurer asks about.
Can I store a copy of the certificate?
Attach it as a photo. Having the actual document alongside the expiry date is what makes an audit painless.
