Tee sheet
The day's bookings, in intervals, from the first time out to the last — the single most contested document at a public course.
Intervals are typically 8 to 12 minutes, four players a slot. What makes a tee sheet hard is not the grid, it is everything laid over it: a shotgun that blocks the morning, a league that owns Tuesday evenings, a frost delay that shifts everything by ninety minutes, and a maintenance crew that needs to get ahead of play.
A blank slot is not one thing. It is either bookable or blocked, and a sheet that cannot show the difference at a glance sends somebody out onto a green being mown.
