The federal rule covering people who work around agricultural pesticides — training, notification, protective equipment and re-entry.

Golf courses sit in an awkward spot: WPS applies to agricultural establishments, and how a state applies it to turf varies. Many states regulate golf course applications under their own pesticide rules, with their own recordkeeping and posting requirements.

What is consistent everywhere is the shape of what an inspector asks for: who applied it, under what licence, what was applied, at what rate, where, when, and who could have walked onto it afterwards.

What it means for a small course

Do not print anything claiming to be your state's official form. Keep the complete underlying record and copy it onto whatever your state actually asks for.
