Superintendent

The person responsible for the condition of the golf course, its crew, its machines and its budget.
At a large private club this is a management job with assistants, an equipment manager and a spray technician under it. At a small public course it is the same job plus driving a mower, fixing the irrigation, and doing the payroll on a Sunday night.
